Semolina porridge is smooth as velvet, and here we have made it even better by using almond milk — healthy and tasty!
Semolina With Almonds and Caramelized Apples
For 4 servings
1 cup of semolina, preferably whole grains
5 dl of unsweetened almond milk
1 pinch of salt
Unsweetened almond milk
Roasted almond flakes
1-2 tablespoons of butter
2 teaspoons of honey
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
Boil the almond milk and whisk in the semolina. Allow it to simmer on low heat while stirring for about 5 minutes. Occasionally stir.
Cut the apples into thin slices across and pick out of the core. Heat the butter in a large pan, put in the apple slices and let them slowly roast on low heat for about 25 minutes so that they become soft.
Curl over the honey and powder over a little cinnamon. Let it fry for another couple of minutes. Thin slices of caramelized apples on top are luxurious!
