Plate Cake with Mushrooms, Bacon and Goat Cheese

A delicious plate cake, much needed after a trip to the forest or a busy day's work, and an easy one to make.

Serves as the main course for 2 people or a snack for 6-8 people

flammkuchen dough on roll (or puff pastry)
125 ml of crème fraîche
1 clove of garlic
1 red onion
150 gr of mushrooms mix
100 gr of smoked bacon strips
100 gr of soft goat cheese
50 gr finely chopped red cabbage
3-5 sprigs of thyme
salt and pepper
olive oil

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Roll out the dough and place on a baking tray.

Finely chop the garlic clove and stir through the crème fraîche, together with some salt and pepper.

Spread the mixture over the dough, leaving about 1 cm on the edges.

Cut the red onion into thin half-rings and tear the mushrooms into pieces. Divide them
evenly across the dough, as well as the bacon slices.

Break the goat's cheese into smaller pieces and distribute them over the dough. Put the sprigs of thyme on top of the dough.

Bake in about 10-15 minutes. Sprinkle some olive oil on top and serve immediately.
